In order to maintain the finish on your alloy wheels it is recommended that you use a soap and water based solution only when cleaning your alloy wheels. Such alloy wheel cleaners can contain acid based chemicals which, with use, will deteriorate the finish on your alloy wheels, and can invalidate your warranty on the alloy wheel.

Brake dust is corrosive and it is recommended that you keep your alloy wheels clean to prevent damage from this and other substances. By regularly cleaning your alloy wheels with soap and water you will help to keep the finish of your alloy wheels in 1st class condition ensuring that you get the full benefit of your alloy wheels for years to come.
